Activities:

Global Day:

We usually get the team together and clean the street around the city during the month of August, but on August 20th is our Global Day. At this particular day, we have a huge advertising campaign in Radio, Television and throughout the flyers. We organize cross country at the Park, the target park for the last two years was Delaware park at the zoo side. For the year 2007, our global day will be held at 6 flax Darien Lake and we are planning to distribute literature about usage of resources such as electricity, hot water, recycling objects. We usually end up with a party held for the last two years at 127 Tacoma Ave were we actually have our computer for youth and elderly population center

Environmental Activities:

Every year on June 5th we celebrate the world environmental day with many activities including : colloquium, cleaning water front, education activities.

Human Service Activities:

We are also planning to increase the capacity of our computer center at Tacoma Ave from the 3 computers to about 16 computers for kids, adults and senior citizen. At the center, we will continue to train our population on MS applications such as World processing, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher.

Fund raising events:

We are planning to run about 4 fund raising events every year including:

a. Oscar of Environment protection week and his gala night
b. Contest ceremony for primary school kids from PK-8: During the school year, we’ll run the contest in about 15 Buffalo Public school that we work with so kids draw picture to express environment protection, write poems for the same purpose.
c. Environmentalist company of the year night. During this night that we’re planning to schedule for March of each year, we will have a fund raising party during the party, our jury will select a company that respect our support activities that contribute the most to protect our environment.

Disadvantaged Population Summer Camp:

We are planning to hold a summer camp every year at one of the state park for disadvantaged population including minorities, less fortunes population (poor families), where we will hire instructors for different activities including sports, painting, Art creation and more.

Senior citizens and people with disability:

We’re planning in the future to receive either donations or use the fund raised to support senior citizen’s activities including taking them out for dinner, lunch, taking them for walk in the park, creating entrainment activities for them.

Support Activities:

Support to all other NGO who work to protect environment by participating and contributing to all workshops, training, conferences and colloquium that has the same interest of protection of the environment like us.

Providing Goods, services or funds to both individuals and organizations:

At this point of time, we are not providing any of those. But, we are planning as we grow to provide the following services:

1- Food bank. We are planning to operate a food bank for disadvantage population and/or people in need with donated food. We will organize donations and record all foods receive and all foods gave out in a special record book kept in the food bank pantry room.

2- Emergency help funds: As we grow, we’re planning to have a special funds to help people in special needs such as disadvantaged population in need to came across seasonal high expenses such heating gas bill in the winter and Electricity bill in the summer.

3- Goodwill store/shop: As we grow, we’re planning to operate a goodwill shop/ store to collect and sells at very cheap prices clothing and all other to help people in special needs such as disadvantaged population in need of clothing or other equipment. All items will came from donations and be sold cheap to people in needs.

4- Housing: As we grow, we’re planning to operate a group home as we described in the bylaw for people with disability and/or disadvantage population at very reasonable cost. All houses and apartments can be receive as donation or we can buy houses and modeled for special need for people with disability or special need and rent that to them at reasonable cost.

Goodwill store/shop:

As we grow, we’re planning to operate a goodwill shop/ store to collect and sell at very cheap prices clothing and all other to help people in special needs such as disadvantaged population in need of clothing or other equipment. All items will come from donations and be sold cheap to people in needs.

All donors will receive a write off for taxes, but all donation will be with no constrain to our organization and they will not expect any reward as they donate to our organization. All donations will be final and be displayed in our goodwill store and be sold to people with need. All or anybody who has no money to purchase in our store that is identified as in need will receive a coupon, a donation coupon to purchase in our store.

Group Home, Goodwill Store and Other Activities:

GVIEN-Inc will accept houses and apartments donations and all donors will receive a write off for taxes, but all donation will be with no constrain to our organization and they will not expect any reward as they donate to our organization.

All donations will be final and be use for people with special needs. All or anybody who has no money to pay rent that is identified as in need will receive a coupon, a donation coupon for his rent in our houses or apartments. As we grow, we will purchase and rent at very reasonable price, houses and/or apartment to people with special needs, especially, people with disability, elderly population and also provide services to these populations. Such as ICF, IRA, TBI. All rent we’ll receive will be use to extend our services and get more people involve. Our plan is to grow and be able to help as many people as possible to have a decent houses or apartments. We’ll then employ people to manage our facilities, to work with our population to support them in their daily living challenges. Also, we’ll use our leadership development and compensation committees to evaluate and choose contractors and all others resources that can help to develop, maintained and extent or adapt our facilities to our population’s needs.

Intellectual Property:

GVIEN-Inc will run contest and receive from kids, teenagers and adults literature in the subject of Environmental protection in accordance with agenda 21st of the United Nation and all winners will receive rewards and the literature, pictures…will remain GVIEN-Ins property and will be publish and be sold/or distributed free to the purpose of environmental awareness. This will be kept as GVIEN-Inc property and be transfer only to another non-for-profit organization. We’ll also produce video, tapes and all other materials that can be use to teach, advise or help people to live in the save and protected environment.

Office in Foreign Countries:

GVIEN-Inc will not have an office in foreign countries, even in Africa, but will help NGO’s such as groups, organizations and/or associations that work on environmental protection and have basic needs in order to fulfill, implement or spray out agenda 21 of the United Nation if their objectives and orientations are not against GVIEN-Inc. bylaws and or objectives.
